1) We were watching Adventures in Babysitting today. In one scene, Daryl tells Chris Parker that her boyfriend kicked his ass. A couple scenes later, Chris calls Daryl an asshole. Augie spent some time processing this and then said "Is he an asshole because he got kicked in the ass and now there's a hole?"
2) Augie learned about the phrase "you read my mind" today, and long after bedtime, after already getting out of bed once before, he walked into our bedroom and said, "Mommy, I'm tired, and you're tired.... did I read your mind?"
3) Watching American Dad, "Is whore a bad word?"
