Augie's Riddle

This evening, Augie asked us to guess a word. Here were his clues:

It rhymes with duck.
It doesn't start with a digraph or a blend.

He had to explain what digraphs and blends were to us. (digraphs are 2 letters that create a single sound, like ch- and sh-. blends blend together, like cr- and bl-)

Here's one more hint: every word we were willing to guess out loud was incorrect.
