The other day, Augie announced that he wanted to be a pediatrician (ENT had been his previous choice). Today, he said:

"Mommy, probably I don't want to be a doctor. Probably I want to be a musician."

Specifically, he said, a violinist.

And then, in case you were wondering why he wanted to change future careers, he asked, "Mommy, how many schools do you have to go to when you want to be a musician?"

Deb explained that you don't necessarily have to go to a special school to be a musician, but you do have to practice and practice your instrument after school, even sometimes when you don't feel like it.

Augie's response: "Um... maybe I'm gonna be a doctor."
