Augie was super hyper this evening and was doing some of his best if-I'm-awesome-you-can't-put-me-to-bed work ever. After stealing his pajama bottoms, he ran into the baby's room and hid them in a drawer. Of course, he told me he was hiding them, as he was hiding them. While I watched him hide them.
Then, when I moved to get them:
Augie: I have special powers to freeze people! (pantomimes freezing me by spraying me with his hand)
Me: (opens mouth to speak)
Augie: (anticipating my next move, which is typically to unfreeze myself) I have special powers to keep people freezed! (uses that power on me)
Me: Well, I have a super special Daddy power that can--
Augie: I have a super speical Augie power that takes your powers and puts them in my body!
