We were at dinner and these two siblings were playing with each other-- probably 7 and 8 years old-- and when augie was done with dinner he was watching them run around and deb said "Do you want to play with them? you can go play" so brave little Augie got off his chair and went over there and ended up playing with them. Every so often he would run back to us with a gigantic, proudly beaming smile, hug Deb and then run back to them. It was amazing. They were taking turns dropping a plastic robot into a hat, and he took a turn and apparently did something right because they said "you won!" and it sent him over the moon. There was a lot of jumping and running.
Oh, and yeah, he can jump now. I have a feeling he picked it up at school because all of a sudden he jumps with both feet leaving the ground. He'll even jump up with his feet close together and land with them far apart. Like the first half of a jumping jack. He jumps over cracks in the sidewalk, too.
